Vibrating Screen
High-capacity classification for quarry, crushing and aggregate circuits. Available with single or multiple decks.

Ore Screening Equipment
Build a steadier material flow with accurate sizing at every stage of your crushing or mineral powder production line.
Screening is where product quality becomes measurable.
Mining vibrating screens are essential classification equipment for crushed stone, ore, coal, mineral sands and industrial minerals. They remove oversize material, split finished aggregate grades and protect downstream mills from irregular feed.
Cronus pairs robust screen bodies with selection support for aperture, decks, stroke, inclination and wear protection, so your screen integrates cleanly with the wider process.

Working principle
An exciter or paired vibration motors generate a controlled linear or circular motion. Material advances across the tensioned screen media: particles smaller than the aperture pass through, while oversize particles continue to the discharge end. Multi-deck arrangements produce several size cuts in one compact footprint.
Screening portfolio
One machine family does not fit every moisture level, particle shape or capacity requirement. Cronus can support selection across common screening duties.
High-capacity classification for quarry, crushing and aggregate circuits. Available with single or multiple decks.
Recovers solids and reduces surface moisture from sand, tailings and wet-process mineral products.
Linear motion supports accurate grading, conveying and gentle screening of powders and granular materials.
Multi-plane gyratory movement improves screening accuracy for fine, dry, high-value mineral powders.
Rigid screen boxes and carefully balanced vibration components support continuous operating cycles.
Configure opening size and deck layout around your product grades, wear conditions and cleaning needs.
Wear parts and screen media are arranged for practical inspection and replacement planning.
Screen performance is considered alongside upstream crushing, conveying and downstream grinding equipment.
Material & industry
Screening parameters are matched to the material’s size distribution, moisture, abrasiveness and required output fraction.

Application focus
In a typical stone production line, the screen is positioned after primary or secondary crushing. It returns oversize material for re-crushing while sending approved fractions onward to stockpiles, sand-making or grinding stages.

FAQ
For a specific equipment recommendation, send the material, feed size, moisture, required product sizes and desired capacity.
It separates feed material into defined size fractions. In crushing plants it removes oversize rock and classifies finished aggregate; in mineral processing it helps control feed and product size.
Please provide material type, bulk density, feed size distribution, moisture, target fractions, capacity, installation space and whether the process is dry or wet.
Usually, one deck produces two fractions, two decks produce three fractions and so on. The optimum layout depends on your required products and the available screening area.
A vibrating screen may use circular or elliptical motion for high-capacity grading. A linear screen uses directional motion, commonly suited to controlled transport and precise classification.
Use one after wet washing or slurry processes when you need to recover solids and reduce surface moisture before stockpiling, conveying or further treatment.
Yes. Aperture and screen media are chosen for the desired cut size, particle shape, wear resistance and anti-blinding requirements.
Typical materials include limestone, granite, basalt, iron ore, copper ore, quartz, calcite, barite, coal, coke, sands and recycled aggregates.
Capacity depends on feed rate, particle size distribution, moisture, deck area, aperture, vibration parameters, inclination and the required screening efficiency.
Inspect it as part of your regular maintenance plan. Abrasive or high-throughput applications require more frequent checks for tension, wear, damage and blinding.
Yes. Cronus serves international customers as the global-facing subsidiary of Guilin Mining Machinery and can discuss equipment configuration, delivery and service requirements.
Yes. Screening can be used before grinding to control feed size, or after crushing to create a stable feed for mineral powder production equipment.
